PODCAST: REACH launches Reshape Tomorrow Appeal

Our charity partners at REACH launch a month-long fundraising drive today that they hope will reshape tomorrow and give young people a fighting chance. We’re enduring an unprecedented global crisis and young Australian’s are coming out of a pandemic and facing into a global recession.

Reece Cares was established in 2019 to support the communities we operate in with a focus on men’s health, mental health and believing in the potential of young people. These partnerships have never been more important as we look to bounce back from the coronavirus crisis.

Lizzy Geremia, Chief Communications Officer at Reece Group says, “The outlook may seem dire to those tackling the last few years of high school, times can also be challenging, and a little frightening, that’s why REACH’s work is now more important than ever”

The REACH Foundation was established more than twenty years ago, to help young Australian’s face challenging times head on, and empower them to ask the right questions and have the right conversations.

Today, Reece Group throws the full weight of its support behind REACH as the organisation calls on all Australian’s to dig deep and support the cause.

“We’ve worked with over a million young people across the country…we work with people from all backgrounds and walks of life and provide experiential youth led workshops, to help them deal with the challenges of daily life.” said Lou Keck, REACH.

“We don’t shy away from asking the really tough questions about who you are, who you want to be and what’s stopping you from getting there?”

Every dollar raised from REACH’s Reshape Tomorrow appeal will be matched by REACH’s partners, so your donation is amplified!

We sat down with Lou Keck from REACH and Tim Oakley from Reece to hear about the important work REACH does to arm young people with the tools they need to come out of the current crisis bigger and brighter.
